Description
Souvenir Wedgwood yellowware pitcher from the 1776 - 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Note the 13 original colonies on the ring around the neck and 1876 / 1876 on the handle. An identical example of this pitcher is pictured on page 102 of "Pictorial Souvenirs & Commemoratives of North America" by Frank Stefano, Jr. (see pictures #10 & #11).
It is about 7 3/8" tall x 6" wide.
It is in excellent condition. There is no major damage. There is some light wear on the upper outer rim (see pictures #5 & #6). Some glaze puddled (in-the-making) in the creases (see pictures). This piece displays very well.
My pictures don't always project the ideal image. I have serious problems with glare and lighting. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, especially photo related ones.
Regarding combined shipping. In most cases, several pieces can be shipped in a single box. When this occurs, I will credit the purchaser's PayPal account any shipping difference. In-other-words, I charge exact shipping for same time multiple purchases. I cannot issue these credits until I've purchased the postage so it may take a day or two. I do this often. I have never had a discrepancy complaint. My customers are in very good hands.
