The BF-3 offers guitarists, and now bassists with it's designated bass input, the thickest stereo flanging sounds of all time. The BF-3 also features dual outputs, stereo and mono. The stereo output enables the BF-3 to give you a broad tone along with a deep effect that conveys a sense of three-dimensional rotation.
The BF-3 features the classic standard flange mode as well as two updated modes, ultra and gate/pan mode for ultra-fat, very low noise flanging. The ultra mode allows for a more intense flange effect. When the mono output is being utilized in the gate/pan mode, the BF-3 automatically adds a slicer effect to the flange; when using the stereo output the flange effect is panned out three-dimensionally for an in depth, swirling effect. Another updated mode of the BF-3 is the momentary mode which provides you with the ability to instantaneously apply the flanger whenever it is needed within a phrase. The BF-3 also includes a tap tempo function which allows you to set the rate to the tempo at which the pedal is pressed.
