    Description

    Vintage Large Horse Weathervane Topper
    This running horse topper is at least 70 years old. It is expertly hand-cut from what appears to be 16 ga. sheet metal and is approximately 23" long X 13" high, with a receptor at the back for mounting on a 5/8" diameter rod.
    It was originally covered with gold paint. Over the years the paint degraded, but for the past couple of decades it was removed from use and stored inside. I recently wire brushed both sides to remove most of the rust. It is ready for restoration. Would make a nice winter project. No bullet holes. Please view all pictures.
