This is a hand sewn miniature GOLD teddy bear, created and sewn by me, Lori Wright. He is 2" tall. He is made from a soft, GOLD-colored long pile of silk made in Japan. This silk is a bit of challenge to work with because it frays so easily. But once the edges are sewn, the fraying stops. The paw pads at the bottom of his feet are made from camel-colored ultra suede. His nose and mouth are embroidered with a dark brown cotton thread. His eyes are made of miniature black seed beads. He is completely hand sewn with nylon invisible thread. He is stuffed with polyester, thread jointed in his arms and legs and he has a cotter pin joint in his head and neck. I have added a 4mm navy blue silk ribbon to his neck.
