Description
Rare original printed textile from the 1876 Centennial Exposition held in Philadelphia showing Memorial Hall in Fairmount park. The building later became thePennsylvania Museum of Art and is now named the Please Touch Museum. The approx 20" by 24" linen is printed in red and black. A large E PLURIBUS UNUM Eagle flies above the detailed view of the building with buggies and horse drawn Fairmount Park trolley in the foreground. Stars & Stripes border.
