"Sue" Mohair Bear Signed/Dated by Artist Denise Dewire of Bearish Delights 1987

Description

All bears listed are from a bear collector and have all been keep in a smoke-free/pet-free home.  They have never been played with; only displayed.  If there is a flaw on the bear it will be described in details.  All tags have been removed from the bears.  I will describe the tag in detail as some have been taped to paper or glued on cardstock/printer paper.

Original Tag:  Paper tag available on this bear and is in fair condition.  The back of the tag is pre-printed and is thin due to where it was taped to paper.  The inside reads as follows:
Left-hand side:  Preprinted with an ink stamp that reads:  AMERICAN TEDDY BEAR ARTIST CLUB CHARTER MEMBER No. 165
Right-hand side:  "Sue"

Condition of Bear:  This little bear is a limited edition by Denise Dewire of Bearish Delights.  She is wearing a red and cream checked pattern dress that has a blue ribbon band around it's waistband and at the neck of the dress and a non-removable blue ribbon bow in her fur by her right ear.   She is beige/light brown imported English mohair and features the artist signature, date and number on her left-leg paw.  "No. 648, 4-12-87".   She stands approximately 10" in height and is fully jointed.
